The Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman said this in reference to the cabinet's decision to open another water pipeline into Gaza and introduce more trucks bringing in aid.

Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman MK Avigdor Liberman addressed the decision of the war cabinet to allow trucks carrying humanitarian aid into Gaza and to open up an additional water pipeline from Israel into the southern Strip.

In a tweet he published on X, Liberman wrote: “The war cabinet decision to continue humanitarian aid by opening another water line and dramatically increasing the number of trucks entering via the Rafah crossing, without any information regarding the state of the captives, and giving up the demand that Red Cross representatives meet with them in exchange for aid, is simply folly.”

“I stress again,” Liberman added, “we have no real ability to know or inspect the contents entering the area of the Strip and any who say otherwise are simply lying. We are not allowed to abandon our daughters and sons.”
