After it was reported earlier today (Sunday) that an indictment would be published against actress Maisa Abd Elhadi on charges of incitement, Interior Minister Moshe Arbel took the unusual step of appealing to Director-General of Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority Eyal Siso: “I request that you instruct the legal office to immediately examine the fulfillment of conditions for advancing the revocation of the Israeli citizenship of Maisa Abd Elhadi, who is charged in conditions established by the Citizenship Law.”

In a letter sent today by minister Arbel to Siso, Arbel wrote: “Today the attached indictment was filed against the accused in question which attributes very serious crimes of identification with a terrorist organization (three crimes) and of incitement to terrorism (two crimes) according to the Struggle Against Terror Law, 2016.”

The minister continued: “This is someone who published on her account on social networks on October 7th, at a time when fierce battles took place between IDF forces and Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Perimeter areas and hundreds of Israeli civilian bodies had yet to be collected and identified, words of praise, admiration, encouragement, and identification with the Hamas terrorist organization. The accused went even further and expressed praise and admiration for the terrible act of terrorism, the worst in the state’s history, and even mocked one of the hostages, an 85-year-old woman who was kidnapped from her home in Gaza, as is detailed in the indictment.”

Minister Arbel: “I request an examining of revocation of citizenship”

The minister ended by saying “these are very serious actions at all times, and certainly in this time when the state is in a difficult war against a terrorist organization. In light of this, I request that you instruct the legal office to immediately examine the fulfillment of conditions for advancing the revocation of the Israeli citizenship of Maisa Abd Elhadi, who is charged in conditions established by the Citizenship Law, 1952. There is great importance that this examination which will clarify the severity of the illegitimate actions, the manner in which the State of Israel views these actions and its expectations of its citizens, be done quickly.”

Earlier today, it was reported that an indictment will be filed today against actress Maisa Abd Elhadi for crimes of incitement, after publishing posts on her Instagram account supporting Hamas actions. Elhadi was arrested last week for her actions but was released from jail last Wednesday. After the Hamas massacre on October 7, Elhadi shared photos on social media with laughing emojis and the caption “Let’s do it Berlin style.” Elhadi was brought to the police station where she was interrogated and arrested.

The actress is not worthy of being Israeli if she supports the enemy. She should be expelled from the country.
