An IDF spokesperson reports that the Gaza Brigade, the Border and Seam Management Directorate in the Ministry of Defense, and the Technology and Logistics Division have been working tirelessly since the beginning of the conflict, under fire, to repair and restore the readiness of the sites and assets that were damaged in the Gaza Strip border area. As part of the joint effort called "Returning Eyes to Gaza," the sites were inspected and cleared of explosives alongside the installation of new systems and assets in the area.
It was also noted that the service of the collection and communication capabilities was almost fully completed.
The head of the Rehabilitation and Maintenance Center, Major General Tomer Shraiber, stated: "We have all mobilized for the mission, and we will operate around the clock and in any space required. We will continue to work together in collaboration to strengthen control in the region."
The commander of the 414th Battalion, Brigadier General Ofir Avram, describes the rehabilitation of the surveillance system: "In recent weeks, we have been rehabilitating the surveillance system under threat and during combat in a determined and resolute manner. Our forces are working at all times to restore the assets, locate the enemy, and destroy it."
Furthermore, Lieutenant Colonel Adar Cohen, the head of the Defense Systems Division in the Border and Seam Directorate at the Ministry of Defense, comments on the rehabilitation of the situation in the Gaza Brigade: "Since the beginning of the war, the Rehabilitation and Return Division has led the efforts to restore and return the collection and communication system to its full operational status, just as it was before the war. Our personnel work 24/7 under fire, in the most dangerous places, in order to bring the situation back to its previous state and support the brigade's efforts in defense and offense. We will continue to work together as needed."
