With many around the world criticizing the IDF firing in civilian areas in the Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson revealed a recording showing a resident of the Strip telling of how the Hamas terror organization is barring civilians interested in fleeing the areas where the IDF is conducting operations.

The recording shows a conversation between an officer in Unit 504 of the Intelligence Corps and a resident of the Gaza Strip, where the resident of the Strip tells of the actions Hamas is taking to prevent residents from evacuating southward.

Soldiers and officers of Unit 504 have been spending the past few days calling on residents of the Gaza Strip to evacuate southward for their own safety. The Hamas terrorist organization continues to use the residents of Gaza as a human shield, preventing them from moving south, as also seen in the past when Hamas erected roadblocks for that purpose.
