The "Wall Street Journal" reported this evening (Wednesday) that Israel has agreed to postpone its ground entry into the Gaza Strip so that the United States can deploy its defensive missiles and defense systems in the region to protect its soldiers.

According to the report, the Pentagon is working to deploy 12 air defense systems in the Middle East to protect American forces in Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates from potential missile attacks. They have successfully convinced Israel to delay its ground entry until these systems are deployed. It is estimated that the deployment of the American defense systems will be completed by the end of the coming weekend.

It is further claimed that in the U.S., there is concern that American soldiers may become targets for attacks by terrorist organizations and Iranian proxies once the ground entry begins. According to their reports, at least 13 attacks against American soldiers in Iraq and Syria have been recorded so far, carried out with drones and rockets. One American soldier was killed in these attacks, and at least 34 soldiers were injured, 24 of them in Syria and 10 in Iraq.
