The IDF spokesman published the documentation of the Navy's activity during the elimination of a terrorist squad that tried to infiltrate Israel through the seashore in the Zikim area.
Last night (yesterday), a naval control unit in the command center identified a group of terrorists from Hamas's marine division. The terrorists exited a tunnel on the Gaza Strip beach and were eliminated when they attempted to infiltrate into Israeli territory in the Zikim area through the sea.
Fighter jets and naval forces attacked in the Gaza Strip the shaft from which the terrorists came out and the warehouse of weapons used by the terrorists. About 10 terrorists were eliminated.
