The war enters its nineteenth day.
IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Daniel Hagari delivered a statement to the press this morning (Wednesday) at the Kiryah, addressing the different fronts of the war Israel is fighting.
Hagari said that “tonight we struck infrastructures of Hamas’ emergency mechanism, which is charged with setting up roadblocks for Gaza residents who wish to evacuate south. We appeal to the whole population in the city of Gaza and its surroundings: the Hamas organization is exploiting you, using your infrastructures and hiding there. For your personal safety, don’t let them exploit you.”
“IDF forces eliminated the commander of the North Khan Yunis Battalion of the Hamas terror organization, Taysir Mubasher. He led many terror attacks throughout the State of Israel. At the same time, IDF forces are strongly deployed for defense at sea – as we saw yesterday in the elimination of the terrorist squads – (as well as) in the air and on land). We will eliminate anyone who approaches and tries to penetrate into Israeli territory.”
The Spokesperson also addressed Iran’s actions, saying “it directly aided Hamas, by providing weapons and technological knowledge. Even in these moments, aid to Hamas continues with incitement on (social media) networks against Israel. In the Middle East, the proxies operate from Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon, but the instructions come only from Iran. Those who undermine the Middle East – shouldn’t hide.”
