During the clearing of settlements in the Gaza Strip envelope, security forces discovered a phone device belonging to one of the victims, which was used by one of the terrorists. On it, there is a recorded conversation between the terrorist and his family in the Gaza Strip, in which he boasts about the attacks he carried out against Jews.

The conversation was first exposed during the United Nations Security Council meeting by Israel's Foreign Minister, Eli Cohen, who participated in the Security Council's discussion on the conflict in Israel. He presented images of the abducted children who are currently held by Hamas.
