Israel at war. After an agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and the Treasury, it was decided to provide a daily economic compensation to all residents who evacuated their homes by order of the Minister of Defense.

According to this, the evacuees will receive an economic compensation of 200 NIS per day for adults and 100 NIS per day for children up to the age of 18, starting from the official evacuation order and throughout the evacuation period, provided they are not staying in state-funded hotels, guesthouses, or any other accommodation units. The Tourism Ministry stated that the mechanism for transferring the funds will be announced soon.

Tourism Minister Haim Katz said, "The economic compensation allows covering living expenses for those who chose to stay with friends, family, or rent apartments independently, while also reserving hotel rooms for those who have no alternative. There is a shortage of accommodation rooms in Israel, and we are working to find solutions for everyone. I call on all hoteliers who haven't yet allocated rooms for the evacuees to join the national effort."
