Israel-Gaza War
Criminal Prisoners Help IDF From Jail
The Prison Service published photos showing them repairing equipment, washing uniforms, and even preparing blindfolds for terrorists.

The Prison Service published documentation of criminal prisoners contributing to the national war effort by packing, repairing, and cleaning IDF uniforms and equipment.
From the start of the fighting (7.10), the occupation system of the Israel Prison Service was converted to continuous work with the IDF Technology and Logistics Directorate to produce and repair IDF accessories and clean IDF uniforms.

The Prison Service occupation system employs criminal prisoners in a number of jails around the country in a variety of jobs in routine times. Since the beginning of the fighting, this system has been focused on repairing IDF accessories, including: helmets, stretchers, cabinets, beds, sleeping bags, and uniforms, with the aim of helping the army as much as possible.
Moreover, the occupation center opened a designated laundromat in a criminal detention center in the center of the country, which deals in cleaning soldiers’ clothes and returning them clean to the soldiers, helping them in the field.

In addition, the system has begun producing thousands of blindfolds for terrorists captured by security forces due to IDF demand.
