For the third time since the beginning of the war, central airports in Syria were attacked by missiles.

The Syrian media reported that Israel struck at the international airports in the capital of Damascus and the city of Aleppo overnight, taking them out of commission.

An hour later, the Syrian Army announced: “Israel struck in the early morning at the international airports in Damascus and Aleppo and took them out of commission. A civilian worker was killed in the attack. The strike wounded another worker.”

As noted, this is not the first time Israel has struck at Syria. The Damascus airport was attacked in the first days of the war when the Iranian Foreign Minister was en route to it, forcing him to head back. The Aleppo airport was then struck, forcing the Iranian minister to ultimately land in Lebanon.
