Shin Bet Headquarters was Established in the House of a Senior Hamas Official in Ramallah

IDF soldiers and the Shin Bet operated in the village of Aroura near Ramallah. They established their command post in the home of Hamas's number 2 in Judea and Samaria, Salah al-Arouri, and hung a sign with the Star of David on it, on which they wrote, "Here was the home of al-Arouri, which turned into the headquarters of Abu al-Namar from the Shin Bet."

"Here was the home of al-Arouri, which turned into the headquarters of Abu al-Namar from the Shin Bet," reads the sign posted on the wall of the house of Salah al-Arouri, who is responsible for the military wing of Hamas in Judea and Samaria and is the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas. He is considered the number 2 figure in Hamas in Judea and Samaria.

During the weekend, the Binyamin Division conducted a wide-ranging counterterrorism operation against Hamas operatives in the village of Aroura, where al-Arouri resided. The soldiers seized the house of al-Arouri and transformed it into the command post for the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) for the purpose of intelligence gathering and arresting wanted individuals.
