IDF Spokesperson, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, updated this evening that around 550 rockets fired by Hamas landed within the Gaza Strip. The number of launches directed towards Israel is estimated at approximately 6,000.

In addition to the report, he also published documentation showing about ten rockets landing on houses within the Gaza Strip from a barrage that was fired towards Israel.

The documentation of the failed rocket launches is connected to the rocket that hit the hospital in the middle of the week. Arabs accused Israel of shelling the hospital, while it was proven that it was a failed launch by the Islamic Jihad that caused the casualties.
