Friday night, around nine o'clock in the evening, Hamas released two hostages with dual citizenship: Israeli + American.

Hamas announced after eight o'clock in the evening that it had transferred two Israeli abductees, with American citizenship, to the Red Cross organization. The two abductees, Judith Tai Raanan and her daughter Natalie, were transferred to the custody of the Red Cross, and from there they were transferred to the Israeli authorities.

Hamas transferred the abductees without preconditions, and according to estimates it did so with the aim of restoring its image in the world consciousness, and with the goal of putting pressure on Israel to delay the invasion of Gaza as a result of international pressure and to first reach a solution on the issue of the abductees with dual citizenships.
