The IDF has Authorized the Release of the Names of Two Soldiers who Lost their Lives in Gaza

Two fighters were killed in the battles in the northern Gaza Strip:  Master Sgt. (res.) Nitai Meisels, 30, from Rehovot and Sgt. Rani Tamir, 20, from Ganei Am.

Israel at war, the 80th day. The names of the two IDF martyrs whose families were notified were allowed to be published.

Major (res.) Nitai Meisels, 30 years old, from Rehovot, an armored fighter in the 14th Strike Brigade, was killed in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

His funeral will be held on Monday, the 13th of Tevet, December 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the military cemetery in Rehovot.

The Shivah will be held at 17 Yahlom St., Rehovot, until Sunday 12/31.

Sergeant Rani Tamir, 20 years old, People's Defenders, a fighter in the 50th Battalion, the Nahal Brigade, fell in battle in the north of the Gaza Strip.

His funeral will be held on Monday, the 13th of Tevet, December 25, 2023, at 15:00 at the cemetery in Ganei Am.

The Shivah will be held at 57 Beya'ar St., Gani Am, between the hours of 9:00-13:00 and 16:00-20:00, until Sunday 12/31.

This brought the number of IDF fallen soldiers in the war to 489. May their memory be blessed.

In addition, in the incident in which the late Sergeant Rani Tamir fell, a soldier in the 50th Battalion, the Nahal Brigade, was seriously injured. His family has been updated.
