Israeli security sources believe that Yemen has just a few dozen ballistic missiles left after being hit with repeated American and Israeli airstrikes, according to Channel 12 News.

Israeli security officials speaking to Channel 12 News said that the Iran-backed Houthi army has just a few dozen missiles remaining in their arsenal, and about the same number of ballistic missile launchers.

According to the sources, this is far fewer than the Houthis would like to use against American and Israeli targets, but repeated Israeli and especially American strikes have destroyed large numbers of missile launchers and missile storage sites, degrading their capacity in much the same way Israel did to Hezbollah's once formidable missile arsenal.

The Houthis have been attacking Israeli and then American shipping since shortly after October 7 and the beginning of the war, consistently stating that they will not stop until Israel ceases its "aggression" against Hamas in Gaza.

They have also launched multiple missiles and drones at Israel itself. Usually, these projectiles are shot down, but they have sometimes penetrated, causing casualties and physical damage.

While Israel and the United States acted in a restrained, defensive manner towards these attacks at first, they both slowly shifted to the offensive, launching ever more intensive strikes on Houthi targets.

Following his inauguration as President, Trump has launched the most intensive series of strikes against the Houthis yet, hitting them repeatedly for weeks - including many senior Houthi leaders.

The United States has insisted that Israel stay out of the current round of strikes despite being targeted repeatedly by Houthi missiles over the past two weeks.
