Global media: This is the number of hostages still alive

The global media is reporting that Western and Israeli assessments of living hostages are in agreement, and that the number of living hostages remaining in captivity is likely smaller than previously thought.

Media outlets worldwide are reporting that assessments from sources in Israel and internationally are consistent, and based on several facts, they have been able to determine the number of living hostages still held by Hamas.

According to reports from US media and other international news organizations, the number of living hostages remaining in Gaza is known to Israel and the United States. Based on thorough investigations conducted in Israel and the US have led to the conclusion that only 24 living hostages remain in Hamas captivity.

According to reports, intelligence agencies in Israel and the West have reached similar results in their calculations. Several agencies estimate similar numbers of living hostages in Gaza, at most between 24 and 26 living hostages.

There are 59 hostages still being held by the Hamas terrorist organization and other groups in Gaza. According to these assessments, 35 of them are no longer alive, and only 24 living hostages remain in Gaza. Israel recently updated its assessments after several operations identified DNA evidence and testimonies that allowed them to definitively determine the deaths of some of the hostages.
