With Assistance from the Lebanese Army? Hezbollah Attempts to Rebuild its Forces in Southern Lebanon
The IDF spokesperson revealed: Hezbollah tried to establish a weapons manufacturing site in Dahieh during the ceasefire, near a school and residential buildings, while receiving advance information from Lebanese security forces.

IDF Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, revealed disturbing evidence today (Wednesday) pointing to Hezbollah's attempts to rebuild its military infrastructure during the ceasefire. According to the report, the organization tried to reestablish a weapons manufacturing facility in the al-Shweifat area of Dahieh in Beirut, a site that was attacked during the war.
Adraee revealed that information about this activity was passed to the ceasefire monitoring committee, which includes representatives from the US, France, Israel, and Lebanon this past January. Suspiciously, when the inspection team arrived, Hezbollah's engineering equipment disappeared from the site, only to return after the inspection concluded. This finding raises serious concerns that Hezbollah is receiving advance information from within the Lebanese security system, allowing it to hide its military activities from inspectors.
Particularly alarming is the location of the weapons manufacturing site – in close proximity to a school and civilian residential buildings, which constitutes a clear violation of international law and endangers many civilian lives.
Israeli security officials continue to closely monitor these developments and emphasize that Israel will not allow Hezbollah to rebuild its military infrastructure that threatens Israeli citizens.
