“Journalist” injured in Gaza airstrike was part of Hamas’ October 7 attack

In an IDF overnight attack on a tent compound in the yard of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, two people were killed; One of them is journalist Helmi al-Faqawi. Nine other journalists were wounded in the attack, including well-known "journalist" Hassan Aslih, who participated in the documentation of the October 7 massacre, Kan 11 reported.
Hassan Aslih is a photojournalist from Gaza who became famous when he joined the terrorists who carried out the October 7 massacre in the Gaza envelope. Afterwards, photos of him with the leader of the Hamas terror organization in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, before the massacre, and his connection to the terror organization were also published.
Last year, Aslih was the focus of an investigation that revealed that the world's largest news networks and agencies employed reporters and photographers who joined the terrorists in the October 7 massacre and actively participated in it.
Aslih documented himself standing in front of a burning IDF tank, tweeted it and wrote in Arabic: "Living from within the communities of the Gaza Strip." Hassan Aslih infiltrated Israel and documented the abduction of soldiers and bodies by terrorists, in September 2024, Kan 11 reported that he tried to receive assistance from Hamas in fleeing to Egypt through the Rafah crossing, but was unable to obtain permission from the Egyptians.

Hassan Aslih posted on his Telegram channel two days after the massacre that he feared for his life. "I am under a major campaign of incitement in the Israeli media, after covering the ongoing war in Gaza," the terrorist Asliah wrote, "In light of this systematic media incitement against me, I hold the relevant authorities responsible and warn against harming the press teams and local news agencies operating in the Gaza Strip."
