WATCH: Gazans protest against Hamas: We don't want war, we don't want Hamas
Hundreds of Gazans participated in a protest against Hamas, chanting, "End the war."

Hundreds of Gazans participated today (Tuesday) in a protest against the Hamas terror organization, held in the northern Gaza Strip. The protesters shouted: "The people don’t want war, the people don’t want Hamas, and they don’t want Al Jazeera." The demonstrators also held signs calling for an end to the war, with inscriptions in English.
The protest included men as well, not just women. The timing is strange though, because the demonstration is taking place at a time when Hamas is considered to hold strong governing power in the Strip.
Hamas security forces arrived at the protest site in Beit Lahia and attempted to forcibly disperse the demonstrators. Meanwhile, a week after the war resumed, residents of the Strip are evacuating their homes and renting apartments on the black market. According to UNRWA, there have been 124,000 displaced Gazans in recent days due to the attacks. At the same time, a trend of sharp public criticism against Hamas is growing stronger.
According to sources in Gaza, most residents of Beit Hanoun, the Jabalia refugee camp, and eastern Jabalia have moved to Gaza City and the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. However, due to difficulties in settling and finding shelters, some Gazans have relocated to the central camps and the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone in Khan Younis.
Sources in Gaza told N12 about an interesting phenomenon observed in the northern Strip—apartments are being rented out to displaced people, with prices ranging between 1,000 and 1,500 shekels per month. Some of these apartments belong to Gazans killed during the fighting, while others have been broken into, with their owners currently in shelters in the southern Strip.
According to estimates, over a million Gazans are staying in the southern Strip, but there is growing concern among residents that the influx of displaced people will exacerbate food shortages and price hikes. They say, "In the current situation, the markets are empty and prices are high, so the increased demand could worsen the situation."
On Gazan social media networks, direct criticism of Hamas is evident. "Every Hamas operative hiding among civilians is a criminal and complicit in the murder of the people," accused one Gazan.
"May God curse you, Hamas, you didn’t protect us or keep danger away from us, cursed be your fate," wrote Mohammed from Gaza. Asil added, "Hamas, get out, may God send them to hell, with everyone’s help." "Hamas, may God hold you accountable, you didn’t protect us or repel [the enemy]," she continued.
"Hamas—May God Curse You Before the Jews"Abdallah attacked: "May God curse Hamas, which has cheapened your blood and turned you into sacrificial lambs… dead and wounded, cities destroyed because of loyalty to Iran." Muataz claimed: "The best thing is when someone tells you every time you mention Hamas: ‘What does Hamas have to do with it?’ If Hamas has no connection, then who should we blame?"
There are also those criticizing the Arab world, claiming it has abandoned Gaza. Yusuf argued: "The Arabs are just camels who say only what America tells them." Amir claimed: "The Jews have reached the stage of bombing hospitals and then bragging about it. They have a green light to do whatever they want from that dog Trump." Mohammed noted: "As for eliminating Hamas, by the way, all Arab rulers agree on eliminating Hamas, but the Emirates are now pushing for the success of the deportation plan from the Strip."
The IDF struck over 100 vehicles used by Hamas for terrorism across the Strip yesterday, and the Gazans paid attention. "Hamas should come out and put on a show for them, enjoy yourselves a bit, you beasts, may God curse you before the Jews," wrote one Gazan. "Enough of God with you, Hamas, you’ve destroyed the land and the people with your primitiveness and betrayals."
Yesterday, Hamas security forces issued a warning against using vehicles similar to those used for military operations, including civilian vehicles, following reports that the IDF is targeting them, claiming they resemble vehicles used by "the resistance" or Hamas security forces.
Palestinian media is staying very very quiet about these protests. Will they bring about the change so desperately wanted?
