North to south blitz
Gaza hit hard: Massive IDF assault follows Hamas rocket fire
Arab media report dozens of Israeli air and artillery strikes across Gaza, targeting militant infrastructure; in central Gaza, a tent for "journalists" inside a hospital compound was struck, with several casualties reported among suspected operatives.

Arabic networks reported tonight (between Sunday and Monday) a large wave of attacks by IDF forces throughout the Gaza Strip. It was reported that our forces attacked a number of terrorist targets, from the northern Gaza Strip to the southern Gaza Strip. Among the terrorist targets were reported attacks on the "journalists' tent" in a hospital in the central Gaza Strip.
In the northern Gaza Strip, our forces attacked from the air east of the Shejaiya neighborhood, which is located east of Gaza City. In addition, artillery attacks were carried out against targets in eastern Gaza City.
In the central Gaza Strip, it was reported that one person was killed and several others were wounded as a result of an airstrike by our forces in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
In addition, there were reports of an artillery attack south of Khan Yunis. The pro-Saudi Al-Hadath TV reported an airstrike by our forces on the "journalists' tent" in a hospital in the central Gaza Strip. It was said that there were two people killed as a result of the attack, among them a "journalist."
In the southern Gaza Strip, artillery attacks were reported overnight in the area of the city of Rafah. It was also reported that the IDF was bombing buildings north of Rafah and that our forces were operating forcefully in the area.
The Prime Minister's Office responded last night to the heavy barrage of rockets fired from the Gaza Strip: "The Prime Minister instructed to launch a firm response, and approved the continuation of the IDF's intensive activity in Gaza against Hamas."
