The violent uprising continues

Gaza clan executes Hamas Officer over relative’s death in Deir al-Balah

In Deir al-Balah, Gaza, a local clan executed a Hamas police officer on April 02, 2025, accusing him of killing one of their relatives during an aid distribution, an act captured on video that has fueled outrage amid ongoing tensions with Hamas following recent protester executions. Hamas condemned the killing as "treacherous," claiming the officer was ensuring humanitarian aid reached civilians, and urged restraint while promising retribution against those responsible.

In a wild twist out of Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, a local clan decided to settle a score on April 02, 2025, by taking down a Hamas police officer they blamed for killing one of their own earlier that day. The whole thing was caught on camera, and the video’s been making waves, stirring up a storm in Gaza, especially after the recent chaos of mass protests against Hamas, where the group didn’t hesitate to execute a few demonstrators.

The story goes back to a messy scene earlier when the Hamas cop allegedly shot a clan member dead. Word is, it happened during some kind of aid distribution gone wrong. Hamas, quick to put their spin on it, released a statement through what they called "Clans and Families in Deir al-Balah," slamming the execution as a "treacherous" betrayal. They painted the officer as a hero, saying he was just doing his job, making sure flour and humanitarian supplies got to desperate folks in Gaza’s tough conditions. According to their version, the police fired shots in the air to keep things under control, but a stray bullet hit a local guy who later died.

That video of the clan’s revenge has only thrown more fuel on the fire in Gaza, where people are already fed up with Hamas after those brutal crackdowns on protesters. The group’s calling for calm now, telling everyone not to let things spiral into total madness. They’re promising the “criminals” won’t get away with it, but that’s cold comfort in a place where clan ties and Hamas muscle keep clashing hard. It’s a brutal reminder of how shaky things are in Gaza, caught between old-school loyalties and a ruling faction that’s not afraid to flex its power, leaving regular people stuck in the middle of the mess.
