CIA's Secret Search for the Holy Ark: Unraveling a Historical Mystery
The Daily Mail has revealed that the CIA tried to use supernatural mediums to detect the possible location of the Ark, which was lost in 586 BC.

A secretive project run by the CIA in the 1970s and 1980s may have discovered the location of the Ark of the Covenant, according to a report by the Daily Mail today (Wednesday).
According to the report, the CIA engaged the services of a "remote viewer" or supernatural medium, named Remote Viewer no. 32, who was asked to identify an object said to be located somewhere in the Middle East.
Receiving only the coordinates, the medium was able to identify a "box" located somewhere in the Middle East, with the people in the area speaking Arabic.
The medium said that "the target is a container" which contains another container, fashioned of gold, wood, and silver and possessing an angel on top - much like the description of the Ark throughout the Bible.
According to the Torah, the Ark was created by Moshe Rabeinu sometime between the thirteenth and fifteenth century, depending on when the Exodus from Egypt occurred. It contained both the tablets brought down from Sinai and shattered on the Golden Calf, as well as the new ones crafted on God's orders.
After being taken to Shiloh and then to Jerusalem after King Solomon built the Holy Temple, it resided there for centuries until Jerusalem was destroyed by Babylonia in 586 BC.
Since then, people have been divided on its fate. Some historians think it was simply destroyed, while others have all sorts of theories about where it was taken, including possibly a location in Ethiopia.
The Daily Mail article did not reveal what the coordinates the CIA provided were.
