The Knesset's Land of Israel Lobby will be hosting a conference next Sunday to discuss making President Donald Trump's plan to relocate displaced Gazans to other countries into a reality.

According to the Lobby's statement:

Against the backdrop of political and security developments, the Land of Israel Lobby in the Knesset, led by MK Yuli Edelstein, MK Limor Son Har Melech, and MK Simcha Rotman, will hold a special conference on the topic: "A New Middle East - The Voluntary Migration Plan in Gaza"

The conference will focus on US President Donald Trump's vision for the Middle East and the practical ways to promote it.

The conference will be attended by Knesset Speaker MK Amir Ohana, Ministers and Knesset Members, Research Institutes and Civil Society Organizations.

The conference is yet another sign of the growing interest of members of the coalition in making President Trump's plan to relocate Gaza's population into a concrete and possibly permanent reality.

Oztmah Yehudit, once part of the coalition and now supporting it from the outside, submitted a law proposal weeks ago proposing state aid for any Palestinian willing to relocate from the Gaza Strip, with the proviso that they have no ties to terror and do not try to return to the Strip later.

Defense Minister Israel Katz has similarly order the establishment of a government administration to coordinate with the IDF and other government bodies to help any Palestinian interested in leaving the Strip - including via Israeli sites such as the port of Ashdod and Ramon airport in the south.

Egypt, multiple Arab states, and all Palestinian leaders have firmly rejected Trump's plan and are instead working on an alternate plan aimed at rebuilding the Gaza Strip without displacing any Gazans and with the Palestinian Authority ultimately being put back in charge of the Strip.

Both Israel and President Trump have rejected this alternative.
