Israeli Air Force aircraft, under the direction of the Intelligence Directorate, attacked the Al-Harmal area last night (Thursday to Friday), killing Muhammad Mahdi Ali Shahin, a Hezbollah terrorist who had been concentrating terror deals for the purchase of weapons on the Syrian-Lebanese border since the understandings between Israel and Lebanon came into effect.

Shahin is a key terrorist in Hezbollah's geographic unit in charge of the Bekaa Valley, which has recently been involved in the transfer of weapons from Syria to Lebanon.

As part of his position, Shahin was responsible for carrying out terrorist deals for the purchase of weapons for the terrorist organization and mediating between the arrival of the shipments and their distribution to the various units, in order to continue the re-establishment of Hezbollah.

In this context, Shahin worked with various merchants or smugglers on the Syrian-Lebanese border who collaborate with the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

Shahin's activity posed a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens, and blatantly violated the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
