BREAKING: Egypt to present 3-5 year Gaza reconstruction plan – with a twist
A huge difference from Trumps' Gaza vision.

Egypt will unveil a detailed reconstruction plan for Gaza next week, ahead of a high-level regional summit between Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Jordan, according to Al-Arabi news channel.
The plan, which Egyptian sources say would take three to five years to implement, aims to rebuild Gaza without relocating its Palestinian residents. The proposed reconstruction would proceed in two distinct phases, beginning with debris removal followed by residential construction, starting in Rafah and the southern region before moving northward.
The initiative would involve collaboration between Arab states, the European Union, and the United Nations, according to the Egyptian source cited by Al-Arabi. The meeting between the five Arab states is scheduled to take place before a broader Arab summit at the end of the month.
The proposal represents one of the first detailed reconstruction frameworks to emerge for Gaza. While the complete details are yet to be announced, the plan's emphasis on maintaining the Palestinian population in their current locations could prove significant for ongoing regional discussions.
