Already?! Congressman Al Green to bring articles of impeachment of Donald Trump
Texas Congressman Al Green has reportedly prepared articles of impeachment against President Trump for his plan to relocate displaced Gazans.

Texas Congressman Al Green has brought forth articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump today (Wednesday) due to his alleged threat of "ethnic cleansing" in Gaza, a reference to his plan to relocate displaced Gazans to other countries.
Green tried unsuccessfully to bring articles of impeachment against Trump three times during his first term, according to the Texas Tribune one of which was for his defense of white nationalists protesting in Charlottesville, Virginia, his criticism of NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem as a protest of police violence, and his retweeting of anti-Muslim videos from a far-right British account.
In all three cases, the Democratic leadership rejected the articles, and only 58 voted in favor of the resolution out of almost 200 Democratic Congressmembers.
The Democratic-held House did end up trying to impeach Trump twice in 2019 over alleged corruption in trying to get Ukraine to investigate alleged corrupt connections between Joe Biden, his son, and a Ukrainian company, and in 2021, after Trump led a protest which turned into a riot of thousands invading the Capitol building. Both failed, largely on partisan lines.
President Trump has consistently supported the idea of relocating the over 2 million Palestinian residents of Gaza to other countries, due to the devastation caused by the war. At first, he said it would be temporary or permanent, but lately he has repeatedly said it would be permanent.
Israeli leaders from both the coalition and opposition welcomed the idea as at least the starting point for discussion following the meeting between the President and the Prime Minister, including Yisrael Beytenu leader MK Avigdor Liberman and State Camp leader MK Benny Gantz.
The hawkish wings of Netanyahu's government, such as Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, have openly supported the idea and declared their intention to try and ensure it becomes a reality.
