A source involved in the negotiations for the release of the hostages addressed the main remaining dispute between Hamas and Israel today (Monday) on Kan 11.

According to the report, Israel and Hamas agreed that 34 hostages would be released, but Hamas refuses to accept 12 names on the Israeli list and insists on exchanging them for bodies.

A few days ago, Kan News also reported that a senior member of Hamas stated that his group submitted a list of living hostages with whom contact can be made through the militants guarding them.

According to the report, the source noted that following consultations with the leadership of the Palestinian factions holding the hostages, it became clear that it is difficult to contact all the militants as a result of the security situation in the Gaza Strip.

Therefore, Hamas announced that the organization would be willing to provide a complete list of the living hostages only after a ceasefire and when the situation allows it.
