Sure Is A Big Change From Their Own Arrogance

Hezbollah whining about Israeli "arrogance" during ceasefire

Hezbollah-affiliated media are openly complaining about the IDF's enforcement of the ceasefire agreement and its acting "like victors" from Day 1 of the agreement.

Hezbollah is complaining ever more loudly at what they say is the IDF's "arrogant" approach to the ceasefire, where they act as though they won the fight against Hezbollah, according to Kann reporter Roi Kais.

Ibrahim al-Amin, editor of the Hezbollah affiliated al-Akhbar newspaper, said that the IDF is ignoring the warnings coming from the Lebanese security forces and its parliament and that its actions may lead to the collapse of the ceasefire.

According to Amin, "although people are sick of the war and they do not want to be expelled from their homes again, the cost of clashing with the Israeli occupation forces will be lower than relying on what they are presently doing."

Earlier this week, Israeli security forces told Kann News that they do not consider the 60-day timeline for evacuating IDF-held positions in southern Lebanon to be sacrosanct, and that their withdrawal will be based on realities on the ground - the extent to which the Lebanese Army controls the area and Hezbollah forces and weapons, all of them, stay north of the Litani River.
