Purim, Hostages
A sorrowful Purim festival calls for the return of the hostages
During the Shushan Purim parade in Jerusalem, families of the hostages marched, calling for their return home: "The People of Israel stands united in demanding that all the hostages be returned home."

The families of the hostages led the Shushan Purim parade in Jerusalem today (Monday) with a sign saying "redemption of captives is the greatest commandment on this holiday!" The event itself was attended by some 30,000 people.
The march, headed by the slogan "united on Purim" was attended by Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion. The parade was led by a display of the 134 hostages held in Gaza for 171 days, now, alongside 134 yellow cranes representing the hostages.
