In honor of the 200th year anniversary of Mir Yeshiva, noted askan and composer Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz composed a song titled “V’hareinu.”
Acclaimed producer Yochi Briskman released a new music video featuring an all-star lineup of Jewish music's finest voices. The collaborative project brings together veteran singer Baruch Levine, rising star Moishe Mendlowitz, the renowned Shira Choir, and introduces young soloist Avrum Chaim Green.
The composition serves as both a musical prayer and a vision of hope, focusing on the anticipated end of exile and the return to a rebuilt Beit HaMikdash. Set against the backdrop of Jerusalem's timeless landscapes, the video portrays a unified Jewish nation living in harmony according to Torah values.
At its core, the song is a heartfelt tefillah expressing the yearning for the Third Temple's construction, where Kohanim will once again perform their sacred service and Leviim will raise their voices in song.
The piece reflects the eternal Jewish longing to return to Jerusalem, the holy city promised to our forefathers.
