Emotional Rollercoaster
LISTEN: Eden Golan releases debut single 'Wait for You'
Eden Golan, the representative who stood bravely against boos on the Eurovision stage, released a new song this morning. She told Srugim News, "I hope for quiet days and a happy holiday for all of Israel"

Eden Golan, the singer who captivated Israel and the world, is launching her first single titled Wait For You. The song is the first glimpse into her debut album, a personal, raw, and powerful creation. After a whirlwind year representing Israel at Eurovision and performing on massive stages, Eden returns with music that speaks to the heart.
Eden Golan told Srugim: "This single, part of my first album, excites me especially. It describes an emotional rollercoaster I went through this year. I feel that after a year where I did so much in such a short time, it narrates my personal story from this recent period."
The song was written by Eden with Ema Rosen and Stav Beger. It portrays an inner struggle between turbulent emotions and a search for peace and security.
Lyrics:
The voices in my head they keep on stronger
And I can’t find my hideaway
I’ve hit a wall and I can’t take it any longer
Sometimes I start to suffocate
Can’t keep on playing that game
Protect my heart from the flame
You know I’m tired of running away
So tell me
Can you hold me
when I’m falling
And the stars don’t shine
I will wait for
In the darkness
When I’m calling
And I need a light
I will wait for you, you, you
I will wait for
The memories haunting me they keep pulling me underwater
It’s a feeling engraved inside my bones
I’m losing my sleep while talking to demons on my shoulder
But I won’t let it break my soul
Ohh you love every scar that’s in me
Don’t have to hide what I feel
You know I’m tired of running away
So tell me
Can you hold me
when I’m falling
And the stars don’t shine
I will wait for
In the darkness
When I’m calling
And I need a light
I will wait for
Can you hold me
when I’m falling
And the stars don’t shine
I will wait for
In the darkness
When I’m calling
And I need a light
I will wait for you, you, you
I will wait for you, you, you
I will wait for

Eden shared her hopes for the approaching holiday with Srugim. "Right before we mark Passover, the holiday of freedom, I wish for the hostages to return to us as soon as possible. That’s the most important thing. I hope for quiet days and a happy holiday for all of Israel."
