"The Truth" is Israel's Newest Must-Watch Drama– and it's Based on a True Story

"The Truth" hurts, but it also makes for great TV.

Looking for a new series to dive into? "The Truth" is coming to Kan 11, and it's definitely one to watch.

This Israeli drama draws inspiration from the real life 2006 Tair Rada case, weaving a compelling story around a young detective named Raheli. Played by Mor Dimri, Raheli's got a knack for solving crimes involving kids and teens, but she's also dealing with some ghosts from her past.

The show kicks off with a bang - Raheli's dad, a former cop, is waiting to hear if a man he helped convict might be released. Meanwhile, there's a new missing teen case in town. Talk about a packed first episode!

Now, fair warning - this isn't your light and fluffy fare. It deals with some heavy themes and doesn't shy away from tough scenes. But if you're up for it, you're in for a gripping mystery.

The talent behind this show is pretty impressive too. It's written by the folks behind "Euphoria" and "In Treatment," so you know you're in good hands.

Bottom line: "The Truth" is everything we love about Israeli TV. It's gritty, it's intense, and it'll keep you guessing till the very end. So grab your snacks and get ready for some edge-of-your-seat drama. This is one TV truth you won't want to miss!

'It Ends With Us' is a heartbreaking yet flawed tale of love and abuse | Movie Review

Blake Lively shines in this gut-wrenching adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestseller, a film that both captivates and frustrates in its portrayal of domestic abuse. "It Ends With Us" may falter in its final act, but its raw depiction of love's darker side leaves an indelible mark, offering a lifeline to those trapped in the cycle of violence.
