Escalation In The Region
US renews strikes against Houthis in Yemen
Meanwhile, no fewer than three aircraft carriers are heading to the Middle East, according to a statement by the Defense Department.

Reports are coming in of additional US strikes against Houthi targets in the Yemenite capital city of Sana'a right now (Monday), according to Kann reporter Roi Kais. Saudi reports state that the strikes are aimed at hidden Houthi weapons storage sites within the city area.
Meanwhile, no fewer than three American aircraft carriers are reportedly on their way to the Middle East, according to a statement by the Defense Department.
Following President Donald Trump's declaration of war against the Houthis for repeatedly attacking American ships and shipping, the US Navy and Air Force have been striking multiple Houthi targets throughout Houthi-held Yemen.
These targets include not only stationary radar installations and missiles and missile storage sites, but also senior and specialized leadership, including personnel involved in the Houthi drone program, senior military leaders, and others.
Roi Kais reported earlier today that "the Saudi channel Al-Arabiya reports from its sources that in the American attack this evening in Al-Salif in western Yemen, a factory and military workshop for assembling ballistic missiles were destroyed. It was also reported that dozens of operatives in the Houthi ranks were injured and killed."
President Trump issued a warning today that he considers Iran responsible for any and all Houthi agression:
"Let nobody be fooled! The hundreds of attacks being made by Houthi, the sinister mobsters and thugs based in Yemen, who are hated by the Yemeni people, all emanate from, and are created by, IRAN. Any further attack or retaliation by the “Houthis” will be met with great force, and there is no guarantee that that force will stop there.
"Iran has played “the innocent victim” of rogue terrorists from which they’ve lost control, but they haven’t lost control. They’re dictating every move, giving them the weapons, supplying them with money and highly sophisticated Military equipment, and even, so-called, “Intelligence.”
"Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon, from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN, and IRAN will be held responsible, and suffer the consequences, and those consequences will be dire!"
