Following the end of the ceasefire on Saturday night at midnight, Israel's decision to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and calls within Israel to resume the war in the Gaza Strip, the Houthis have awakened once again, threatening Israel. However, Google Maps has revealed a shocking and clear picture of the severe damage to Hodeidah Port and the fuel facilities and petrochemical infrastructure in the area.

In the context of the ceasefire ending on Saturday night at midnight, Israel's decision to halt the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and the calls within Israel to return to fighting in the Gaza Strip, the Houthis have once again issued threats. The United States, too, is not receiving any leniency.

A member of the Houthi political bureau, Hazam Al-Asad, threatened Israel last night: "Our finger is on the trigger. The enemy will regret it if they violate the ceasefire in Gaza and escalate the situation again. The blockade on Gaza will push us to tighten the blockade on shipping routes."

He added that the Americans are also in the line of fire, stating, "If the war in Gaza resumes, we are ready to launch an all-out war against the interests of the United States in the region, if it attempts to defend Israel, support it in its aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, or attack our country."

Houthi official Nasser Al-Din Amr also issued a threat, writing on his X account: "The eye is on Gaza, the hand is on the trigger, the missiles and drones, and all military units are on standby. The decision of our leader, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, is clear."

Meanwhile, following the latest update from Google Maps, the severe damage to the Hodeidah Port and the fuel and petrochemical infrastructure in the area is now clearly visible. The sharp and clear photographs are dated January 24, 2025.

As a reminder, Israel has attacked the Houthis in Yemen five times during the war, the last being on January 10 of this year. The first attack, in Operation "Long Hand," took place on July 20 last year, followed by strikes on September 29 in Operation "White City," December 19 in Operation "Sounds of the Vineyard," and December 26. Hodeidah Port was hit multiple times in these airstrikes.

The most recent missile launch from Yemen to Israel occurred on January 14, when sirens were heard in dozens of communities in Gush Dan, Shfela, and Lachish, as well as in areas near Jerusalem, following a Houthi missile strike from Yemen aimed at Israel. The missile was intercepted by American defense systems placed in Israel outside the country’s borders.
