Israel-Turkey Clash
"In Erdoğan’s Turkey, there is no justice, no law, and no freedom": Israel Foreign Ministry hits Turkey
The Israeli Foreign Ministry has been hitting back at fierce criticism from Turkey over its conduct of the war on all fronts.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has escalated its rhetoric against Turkey in the face of the latter's criticism of Israel's conduct of the war on various fronts.
In response to Turkey's condemnation of Israeli strikes against Hezbollah terrorist targets, the Ministry posted the following statement on X:
"While violently suppressing his own citizens and carrying out mass arrests of political opponents, Erdoğan presumes to preach lofty values to the international community. In Erdoğan’s Turkey, there is no justice, no law, and no freedom. Israel does not need Erdoğan’s ridiculous moral sermons. Israel acts to defend itself and its citizens against real threats and actual attacks — and it will continue to do so."
Turkey then responded to Foreign Minister Gideon Saar's claim that Erdogan is an antisemite, due to his prayer that "Allah" destroy the state of Israel, calling such a statement "baseless," "outrageous," and "disrespectful," meant to cover up Israel's "genocidal" policies.
The Foreign Ministry then responded with this statement:
"What bothered the Turkish Foreign Ministry? Here’s a way to clarify the dictator’s words: Clearly state that Erdoğan is not an antisemite, that he is not an obsessive hater of the Jewish state. Everyone knows what Erdoğan has done to nations and peoples in the region — from Cyprus to Syria. Everyone sees what he does to his own people (and to Pikachu)," a reference to an anti-Erdogan protestor arrested in Pikachu costume. "And everyone hears what he wants to do to the Jewish state. The true face has been exposed to all."
Erdogan has been escalating his rhetoric towards the State of Israel ever since October 7, imposing a full trade embargo and even threatening that Turkey's armed forces will one day attack Israel itself. He recently said that he hopes "Allah" destroys the State of Israel and is reportedly working on acquiring basing rights in northern Syria which could endanger the Jewish state.
