Immigration authorities in Berlin have ordered four people demonstrating against Israel to leave Germany over allegations of anti-Semitism and support for terrorism. This is what a lawyer representing two of the four claims.

Two of those to be expelled are from Ireland, one is from Poland and another is from the United States. Immigration officials in Berlin informed them that due to anti-Palestinian anti-Semitic slogans and support for terrorism, they must leave the country by April 21 or be deported.

The four took part in demonstrations at Berlin's main train station, blocking roads and taking over the building of the Free University of Berlin. They were part of a group of masked men who entered the campus and caused significant damage to property, including graffiti paintings.

The masked men broke in with axes, threatened workers and damaged rooms, and authorities say they pose a security risk after clashing with police. They were part of a group that destroyed furniture, computers and photocopiers, and painted slogans and the red triangle symbol associated with Hamas.

"This is resistance against law enforcement personnel by dispersing demonstrations, insults, particularly serious disturbances and the use of symbols of terrorist organizations, including the slogan from the river to the sea," the authorities in Berlin said. According to the accusations by the immigration authorities, all four are members of a violent pro-Palestinian group.
