Pesach prep’s here, friends! We can't deny it anymore or pretend it away.

But it doesn't have to be hellish. Here’s 10 tips to make cleaning less of a nightmare, straight from me to you.

1. Dishwasher genius

Pop your fridge pieces or compartments in the dishwasher. Just double-check they’re dishwasher-safe first!

2. Hit the Fridge and Freezer Now

Start your fridge and freezer ASAP. When you're done, line the shelves the day before Pesach. You’re welcome.

3. Vacuum’s Your BFF

Did you know you can use your vaccuum cleaner on food cupboards too? Use a soft brish attachment so you don't scratch the cupboards.

4. Car Wash Early Bird

Take your car to the car wash early. Those lines outside the car washes are going to be crazy closer to Pesach. Ain't nobody's got time for that.

5. Stock Up Before the Chaos

Clean a food cupboard, head to a store and stock up on your Pesach dry goods before stores turn into a stressed-shopper zoo. Think things like matza, matzo meal, cocoa powder, potato starch, cake or kneidel mixes, cookies and spices. Pop it into said cupboard and seal it. Open when your kitchen is all ready.

6. Load Up on Supplies

Buy tons of masking tape, silver foil, and cupboard liners if you’re into those. Trust me, you're gonna need them.

7. Ditch Chametz Snacks Now

Stop buying chametz snacks, like yesterday. Switch to gluten-free cookies or bamba—you’ll thank me later.

8. Toy Bath Time

Dump all the Pesach toys in the tub with some soap. Let your kids splash away—cleaning’s fun for once!

9. Spring Cleaning Can Wait

Leave the big spring cleaning gig til after Pesach (trust me on this one!). Focus on the chametz now, people.

10. Whistle While You Work

Yes, really. Music makes everything so much more fun, even if it is scrubbing for Pesach.
