Three years ago today, Moishy Kleinerman disappeared. Police just found a new clue.

25 March 2022: 16-year-old Moishy Kleinerman disappears from Modi'in Illit, leaving behind a mystery that has haunted the ultra-Orthodox community and baffled investigators.

Since then, extensive searches, including massive volunteer efforts around Mount Meron, have yielded nothing. Hundreds of volunteers have combed through potential sites, interviewed witnesses, and pursued every possible lead, but the question remains: What happened to Moishy Kleinerman?

A new development could help solve the case at alst and bring closure to Moishy's parents. Prosecutors have charged Solomon Abramov (recently extradited from the UK) with multiple offenses involving other Haredi teenagers, and investigators are exploring potential connections to Moishy's disappearance.

According to sources, police found blood in Abramov's car, however, Abramov maintains his innocence. "I was around him a couple of times, but I didn't kill him," he told investigators. While prosecutors have moved forward with charges related to other cases, no direct link to Moishy has been conclusively established.

A spokesman from the Yichiel search group, which has led the investigation (not connected to the police's investigation) spoke up today, "Over 600 people have gone missing since Israel began. These families deserve more support, more resources, more attention from authorities."

Police investigations have explored different theories over the past three years, iincluding potential foul play, the possibility of Moishy leaving the country voluntarily, or being the victim of a more sinister crime. Several suspects were initially detained and questioned, but police eventually released them all as a result of lack of evidence.

Speaking to the press today, the Kleinerman family expressed continued hope and frustration. "We haven't heard anything new," they said. "We're counting on the police to keep trying, to find some kind of clue that might explain what happened to our son."

As another year passes, Moishy's disappearance is still a mystery. His family continues to wait, his community continues to search, and the question of what happened on that Friday in March 2022 remains unanswered.
