The incredible story of ZionMerch: How it all began (and where to get yours)

I’m a New Yorker at heart—born and raised in the hustle of the city that never sleeps. But in 2020, when COVID turned the world upside down, I packed up my life, my wife, and our kids, and made the leap to Israel. I’d built and sold a few startups over the years, cashing out enough to pivot to consulting. That gig gave me freedom—freedom to dive deep into the news, tracking global events like the junkie I’d always been. Little did I know, that obsession would soon pull me into something much bigger than myself.

October 7th: A Turning Point

After the October 7th attacks, I started posting updates and analysis on my page, sharing open-source intelligence under the handle OSINT613. The amount of misinformation spreading online was overwhelming, and there weren’t enough people pushing back or speaking up for Israel.

I didn’t expect much, but the response was incredible. The page grew fast—people appreciated the clarity, accuracy, and unapologetic stance. First it was 100 followers, then 1000, then 100k and now we are pushing hundreds of millions of views per month and still growing fast.

A Costly Passion

As my page expanded, so did the time commitment. What started as a side project became a full-time responsibility, but there was a problem: I wasn’t getting paid for it. My regular consulting work took a backseat, and I realized I couldn’t sustain this without a way to fund it.

I knew this work was important—I needed to find a way to do it full-time, hence the birth of ZionMerch. I asked myself: How can I keep fighting for Israel and still make a living? The answer: Merchandise. People love to wear their pride on their clothing, to wear something that represents how they feel.

Not just any merch, but bold, unapologetic designs that embolden Jews worldwide—Stand with Israel messaging, Jewish pride, and defiant pro-Israel statements.

At first, I started with print-on-demand, and while it worked, it wasn’t enough. We wanted higher quality, and faster shipping times to make sure people were genuinely happy with their product. I didn’t want this just to be a money grab…but to genuinely create something to be proud of that others were happy to wear.

Scaling Up: From Print-on-Demand to Full Production

To take it to the next level, I went back to my roots as a serial entrepreneur. I partnered with a friend who happens to own of the largest amazon companies in the world. He wants to remain anonymous. He owns a warehouse in New Jersey. We invested in professional printing machinery so we could handle production ourselves—allowing us to offer better designs, faster fulfillment, and higher quality. It was a massive investment but worthwhile to ensure our customers got the quality they deserve.

Giving Back

From the start, we knew ZionMerch had to give back. Some of our proceeds go to organizations that provide food, housing, and support for those affected by the war.

We also made direct contributions to IDF soldiers, donating multiple BBQs packed with serious meat and steaks—even hosting poolside parties to boost morale.

Where We Are Now

Today, ZionMerch has sold tens of thousands of items, and we’re constantly expanding—adding new designs that give Jews worldwide the confidence to stand proudly with Israel.
