WATCH: [Graphic] Two Chabad Men Assaulted in Crown Heights After Shabbat Prayers
A growing wave of anti-semitic violence continues to plague Brooklyn's jewish community as two Hasidic men were brutally attacked after Shabbat prayers, marking the second such assault in Crown Heights.

Crown Heights, Brooklyn — Two members of the Chabad-Lubavitch community were attacked Saturday morning while returning from Sabbath services, according to the Shomrim neighborhood watch group.
The incident occurred when an assailant allegedly attempted to stab one of the victims and pushed the other to the ground, while verbally threatening both men. Shomrim volunteers responded quickly to the scene and detained the suspect until police arrived.
The NYPD has taken the suspect into custody for further investigation. The victims sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene, not requiring hospitalization.
This attack follows a similar incident last month near the intersection of Brooklyn Avenue and Eastern Parkway, close to Chabad World Headquarters (770 Eastern Parkway). In that case, two young Hasidic men were assaulted by a pair of attackers who emerged from a vehicle while the victims were waiting at a traffic light. The perpetrators allegedly punched and choked the victims before fleeing the scene.
Local community leaders have expressed concern about the pattern of attacks targeting Jewish residents in the neighborhood. The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
