"I want ISIS to kill all of you!’: Former CAIR employee charged with hate crime
Noora Shalash faces aggravated harassment and a second-degree hate crime charge after an alleged violent outburst.

Police have charged Noora Shalash, a former employee of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), after a viral video allegedly showed her harassing Jewish individuals and assaulting a man in Manhattan.
Shalash, a 39-year-old from Lexington, Kentucky, has been charged with aggravated harassment and a second-degree hate crime, the New York Post reported, citing police. In the footage, she is heard shouting antisemitic threats, including: “F** the Jews, I love Jesus… I demand Jihad! I want ISIS to kill all of you! I am conspiring with Hamas, Palestinian Jihad, and with ISIS, I am conspiring with them!”* The video also appears to show her attempting to kick a man and swatting at a phone recording her.
Shalash was taken for a mental evaluation following her detainment and is expected to be arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on Saturday.
Seth Bell, one of the alleged victims who recorded the incident, told the New York Post that Shalash “was equating some random Jewish guy with what was going on in the Middle East, which is classic antisemitism.”
While initial reports described Shalash as a director for CAIR’s Kentucky chapter, the organization— which has faced multiple accusations of antisemitism— denied that she was currently employed by them.
