SHOCKING VIDEO: Rabbi Banned from Kenya Airways Flight 'Because of Religious Attire'

A disturbing incident of alleged antisemitism has come to light involving a rabbi who was reportedly denied boarding on a Kenya Airways flight from Johannesburg to Nairobi. While other members of his travel group were allowed to board without issue, the rabbi, visibly identifiable by his religious attire, was singled out and turned away.

According to reports, a Kenya Airways staff member confirmed that the rabbi’s religious appearance was the reason for the denial, stating, “That’s it, it’s not good.”

In response to the growing backlash, Kenya Airways issued a statement on social media claiming that the group had been "behaving disruptively and appeared to be intoxicated." However, video footage from the incident did not support the airline's version of events, and many have criticized the airline for using this explanation to deflect from the clear allegation of religious discrimination. The airline further defended its actions, claiming that the fact some members of the group were allowed to board proves the decision was not based on religious grounds.

This latest incident follows a string of antisemitic controversies in the airline industry. Last year, Lufthansa was fined $4 million after barring Jewish passengers from a connecting flight over mask rule violations, despite non-Jewish passengers being permitted to continue their journeys. Similarly, British Airways faced public outcry after removing a Jewish sitcom from its in-flight entertainment, allegedly to remain "neutral" on the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The Kenya Airways incident underscores a growing trend of anti-Jewish sentiment making its way into international travel. It raises important questions about how airlines respond to issues of discrimination and the steps they must take to ensure that all passengers, regardless of their religion or ethnicity, are treated with respect and dignity.
