In the run-up to International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a new ADL survey of 103 countries and entities reveals that one in two adults in the world holds antisemitic views (46% of the world's population).
This is a doubling of the number of people holding anti-Semitic views since 2014. 20% have never even heard of the Holocaust and less than half of the respondents recognize the historical truth about it.
In a worrying demographic trend, young people up to the age of 35 hold more antisemitic views than adults. Nearly 30% of young people under the age of 35 hold positive attitudes toward Hamas.
The Anti-Defamation League's Global 100 survey, on the levels of antisemitism among 103 countries and entities around the world, reveals that antisemitism in the world is at an all-time high and about 2.2 billion people in the world hold antisemitic views.
The survey is based on 11 statements such as: Jews have too much power in the business world, Jews talk too much about the Holocaust, Jews are more loyal – or only – to the State of Israel than to the country in which they live, and more.
