A wildfire ignited in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles on Tuesday morning and rapidly spread across the western parts of the city throughout the day and into the night.

One of the buildings damaged in the fire was a storage facility of a local Chabad house. Footage from the fire shows large menorahs burning in front of the "Circle of Friendship" sign. Members of the community managed to rescue the Torah scrolls safely before the flames approached the scene.

"By the grace of God, all the families belonging to the Chabad community are safe," said Rabbi Zusha Kunin, a Chabad emissary in the area, in an interview with Reshet ABS. "Fortunately, our campus building is intact, and thank goodness we are safe."

Rabbi Kunin expressed optimism about the future and said that the community will recover from the event and rebuild the community center. "We are confident that our community will survive and we will rebuild stronger than ever," he said.

The Jewish community center, located in the area affected by the fire, was also damaged. However, the members of the community are happy that all the family members were evacuated safely.
