A bookstore in Dublin has pledged to replenish copies of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar's book, which describes him as a "king in a chair" facing "Zionist scum."
The anti-Semitic bookstore Connolly Books, described as "Ireland's oldest radical bookstore," sells the book "The Thorn and the Clove" written by Sinwar, the architect of the October 7 massacre while in Israeli prisons for the murder of Palestinian collaborators and other terrorist activity.
The book is described as a "vital work of literature" with praise for providing insight into "the resilience and ethos of a man who played a central role in shaping the discourse of resistance in the Palestinian context."
The store's announcement said of the book, which was translated into English: "It tells the story of endurance, and provides insights into the strategic thinking that would later define Sinwar's role in the Palestinian leadership. Through the pages that give a glimpse into his mind, in which the seeds were sown for the heroic Operation 'Al-Aqsa Flood' that he initiated on October 7, 2023."
A spokesperson for the bookstore confirmed to the Jewish newspaper Jewish News that the initial order was quickly sold out and promised to restock. The speaker praised Sinwar's actions.
