In an alarming demonstration of rising antisemitism in South Africa, authorities are investigating the discovery of a suspected bomb outside Cape Town's Jewish community center - a chilling escalation that has shaken the local Jewish community.

The timing is particularly disturbing, coming in the wake of President Ramaphosa's inflammatory "from the river to the sea" rhetoric - a statement Jewish leaders warn is essentially calling for Israel's destruction.
