A Russian drone struck a Jewish school in the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv early this morning (Wednesday) a few hours before the arrival of hundreds of students and caused great damage.

Some people were injured in an adjacent building, but it's not clear how many people were injured and to what extent.

The school's protected window system, equipped with a film protector, prevented more serious damage to the interior of the building. However, there was significant damage to the classrooms, the shuttle bus and the students' rest room.

The rabbi of Kyiv, Rabbi Yonatan Markovitch, and his wife Elka Inna arrived at the scene accompanied by police representatives and officials to assess the damage and plan alternatives for the continuation of studies.

Notably, the attack took place 50 meters from a neighborhood gas station, which was not damaged in the attack.
