A new mini-documentary titled “Our 9/11 Story,” produced by ROVA Media, explores the experiences of two daughters connected by shared trauma, ROVA Media announced. The film, which aired on YouTube in early September, captures the powerful bond between two women from different countries, faiths, and languages, whose paths would never have crossed otherwise.

The documentary highlights Maya Peretz, an October 7th survivor whose father was killed by terrorists while rushing towards the Nova Music Festival to rescue her, and Kristin Marino, whose firefighter father died heroically saving lives during the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center.

The film documents their meeting in New York, where they reflect on their fathers’ courage, the deep wounds these tragedies left behind, and how their faith has been a source of strength through their grief.

As the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 and the first anniversary of October 7th draw near, “Our 9/11 Story” offers a poignant and heartfelt tribute, reminding us of the enduring legacies of those who sacrificed everything.
