On a Wednesday evening two months ago, Menachem Mendel Bluming (15) was crossing the road outside the Lubavitch Yeshiva of Suffield when he was struck by a vehicle. The yeshiva is located about 15 minutes from Six Flags New England.

Following the accident, local ambulance services rushed Menachem Mendel to a hospital in Massachusetts. After initial treatment and stabilization, he was transferred to a hospital in New York City for specialized care. Despite the efforts of medical professionals and the prayers of the community, Menachem Mendel succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.

Our thoughts are with Menachem Mendel's family, friends, and the entire Lubavitch community. May his memory be a blessing.
